The Niantic Inn

Absolutely loved it! Our room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. I thought it was so cute & sweet the welcome goodie bag. Plus all the extras in the room like a tray on the bed w/extra treats, sound machine, eye mask, USB ports making you feel at home . 5stars⭐ Hidden Gem My only suggestion would be a long body mirror would be nice in the room. To check your outfit before heading out for the day.

We absolutely loved our overnight stay at the Niantic Inn. The location is fantastic, with wonderful shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The guest rooms are located in a separate three-floor building behind the office. There is no elevator, so if you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage, I recommend requesting a first-floor room. They are happy to assist with bags if needed. Brooke at check-in was incredibly helpful, especially on a busy Valentine’s Saturday. She offered thoughtful restaurant suggestions and even looked up and wrote down the phone number for her top recommendation. Unfortunately, they were fully booked, but we appreciated the effort. We reserved a king room, which was spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated with a breezy seaside feel. The bed was very comfortable. The Valentine’s touches were charming, including towel swans, silk rose petals, and decorated coffee cups with flowers on the tray. Small details like wine glasses, a corkscrew, extra towels and blankets, and plenty of outlets made the stay even better. There was also a snack bag at check-in, and the office offered sundries and locally sourced gifts. It is truly a quaint, welcoming inn and the perfect home base for exploring Mystic and Niantic.

We were so glad we stopped here when passing thru town! The people in the office, Chris, Marianne, Aggie were so nice and helpful! The room was great. It has everything we could've needed! Perfect location! Near water and great restaurants! We went to the Black Sheep pub for great food and beverages and Cafe Sol for an outstanding breakfast and coffees!! Thank you for a great experience!

Check in was smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. Although our heat went out while we were there, the staff was very responsive and loaned us a space heater to use when the repair didn't solve the problem. I was very pleased with our stay and plan to stay here again. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed at Niantic Inn for three nights and absolutely loved it! The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was firm yet cozy — the mattress was just perfect! What impressed us most was how thoughtful the hosts were. They prepared everything we might need, including eye masks, earplugs, extra towels, and even a warm welcome goody bag. It really made us feel at home. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!

Niantic Inn staff is always so helpful and accommodating. I had to change plans twice and they were very quick and helpful in making it happen. Rooms are always clean and comfy. I highly recommend.

The nicest people work here! The rooms are clean and big. Everyone there set up a complimentary comfort room for guests enjoying the Light Parade happening right out front. They had a generous and varied display of holiday treats in the room. Thanks to everyone there for their hospitality!

My husband and I enjoyed our one night stay at the inn; where we stayed before attending and event at the Saybrook Point Inn the next day. Check in was seamless, Brooke was very pleasant when we arrived. Our room was clean, spacious and well appropriated with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The inn’s location was perfect for a stroll by the water, a great many restaurants to choose from. While we didn’t have much time to explore Niantic, we certainly return to take full advantage of the lovely town at another time.
